DILLARD LAND INVESTMENTS, LLC v. FULTON COUNTY Featured in Fulton Daily Report

PFT’s recent win before the Supreme Court in Dillard v. Fulton County was featured in the Daily Report on July 24th. The article, titled “High Court: Fulton on Hook to Buy Property for $5M”, reviewed the County’s attempt to dismiss the case after a special master award they thought was too high. The correct procedure for disputing an award would be appeal. However, as Charles is quoted saying “[i]t’s clear this was an intentional, strategic decision made by the county not to appeal, and I suspect they were afraid they might have to pay more,” Pursley said. “If you have confidence in your appraisal, why would you not appeal?”. Georgia Supreme Court rules in favor of PFT
