The site where the new Falcons stadium will be built includes a small patch of gravel parking lot property. This piece of land is currently in negotiations to be bought for the new stadium—the state offered $1.2 million, and the appraised value is $12 million. If an agreement cannot be made, it is likely that the state will turn to eminent domain to acquire the property.
