Channel 2 News Interviews Partner Charles Pursley About New Falcons Stadium Land
The site where the new Falcons stadium will be built includes a small patch of gravel parking lot property. The owner does not want to hold up the plans to build the new stadium, but having owned this piece of land since 1902, simply wants just compensation for the best use of the property. If an agreement over price cannot be made, the state plans to turn to eminent domain to acquire the property. In its recent report, Channel 2 News interviewed Partner Charles Pursley, who not only is the prominent scholar in Georgia on Eminent Domain, but also represents the owner of this controversial piece of property.
