Batten, Sr., a Georgia Tech alumnus who currently presides over cases in the Atlanta and Newnan divisions of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The Clayton County School Board wants to condemn and tear down the Regal Forest apartment community to build a new school in Morrow, Ga. Families living in the 116-unit complex want to keep their homes at Regal Forest. Managing Partner Christian Torgrimson, who represents the owner of the private residential community, spoke to local media about the matter.
