Bob Stubbs1

Bob Stubbs is an accomplished attorney with more than four decades of experience with commercial real estate leasing, acquisitions and dispositions. His clients include commercial real estate sellers, purchasers, developers and institutional lenders across the Southeast.

His expertise includes highly effective negotiating for both commercial office, retail and industrial leases; for the purchase and sale of commercial real estate; and for construction and commercial real estate loans.

Bob’s transaction work includes helping his clients navigate complex issues involving property tax abatements with development authorities, due diligence for public offerings as well as acquisitions and sales of real estate assets (office, retail, multi-family, industrial and assisted-living).

Before joining the commercial real estate transactions team at Pursley Friese Torgrimson in 2016, Bob served as in-house regional counsel with LPI and Prime Bancshares. He spent 16 years as partner with Carter & Ansley.

Most recently while with Tishman Speyer, Bob negotiated office and retail leases in-house for all properties owned by Tishman Speyer in the southeastern United States.

He notably negotiated Tishman Speyer’s purchase and sale agreements and managed closing of real estate sales and acquisitions for Atlanta properties including Palisades, One Alliance, Two Alliance, Interstate North Office Park and Midtown Plaza; and Miami’s Courvoisier Centre.

His notable client work involving construction loan and construction management contracts include Atlanta’s Two Alliance Center and Three Alliance Center. His expertise extends to reviewing construction and architectural contracts, drafting covenants and easements, and analyzing and negotiating of zoning with applicable government entities.

A Georgia native, Bob earned his law degree from the University of Georgia and his undergraduate degree in history from Davidson College. Bob served in the United States Army as a first lieutenant and received a Bronze Medal for his service in Vietnam.

He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia for more than four decades.
