PURSLEY FRIESE TORGRIMSON

It is with gratitude and excitement that we announce we have made the decision to dissolve operations at Pursley Friese Torgrimson, effective March 1, 2019. After six rewarding years practicing together and experiencing substantial growth, the three practice groups comprising Pursley Friese Torgrimson are strategically transitioning to new law firms to move each group’s client service to the next level.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our clients for their continued confidence and support in each of us, as you all are the reason we were able to grow Pursley Friese Torgrimson into a highly respected commercial real estate law firm. Our commitment to you is enhanced by the steps we are now taking.

The eminent domain practice, led by Christian Torgrimson, is joining the Atlanta office of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein. The strategic move expands the practice’s capabilities beyond Georgia to include eminent domain and condemnation and real estate transactional matters in key markets across the Southeast. Partner Charles Pursley Jr. and attorneys Angela Robinson and Elizabeth Story along with transactional attorney Bob Stubbs will accompany Torgrimson at Parker Poe. Parker Poe is a Southeastern business law firm representing clients in education, energy, financial services, government, health care, life sciences, manufacturing, and real estate industries from its offices in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Led by Stephanie Friese, the transaction practice group is joining the Atlanta office of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams and Aughtry. The strategic move will leverage Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s deep experience in construction, corporate and tax matters to strengthen capabilities in transactional and litigation matters, including commercial leases, acquisitions, dispositions and dispute resolution. Friese is joined by attorney Christine Norstadt and paralegals Van Clements and Jessica Collier. Chamberlain Hrdlicka is a multi-discipline law firm headquartered in Houston with offices in Atlanta, Philadelphia and San Antonio, Texas.

The zoning and land use practice is forming Dillard Sellers. Led by Doug Dillard and Julie Sellers, the firm will leverage its deep relationships and experience with local policymakers, government and agency leaders, and community stakeholders to help clients successfully navigate zoning, land use and policy matters to advance real estate development across the state of Georgia. The firm will also continue to collaborate with other law firms on local land use and zoning needs. Attorneys Jeff Haymore and Baxter Russell along with paralegal Jennifer Taylor are also joining Dillard Sellers.

We have great mutual respect for one another and will continue to encourage and support each another as we embark on new journeys in our careers. We thank each and every one of our clients, colleagues and friends for your continued support and partnership.
