TRAVIS D. HUGHES
Travis D. Hughes focuses his practice on a wide array of transactions related to commercial real estate, including office leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and foreclosures, and land acquisitions. He represents property developers, investors, and office users.
Travis’ transactional practice involves negotiating office leases for landlords and tenants, representing high net worth individuals, funds, and companies in the sale and purchase of Class A and B properties, and stewarding office and land closings.
For the three years prior to joining Pursley Friese Torgrimson, Travis was Vice President of Transaction Services in the Atlanta office of national commercial real estate brokerage firm, Transwestern. In this capacity, Travis executed Class A and B office and industrial deals in investment sales, tenant representation, and agency leasing. His clients ranged from small business owners to international investors. Before Transwestern, Travis was a real estate Associate at a boutique Houston law firm and an Associate with a large Midwest law firm.
A Houston native, Travis is a licensed attorney in multiple states and holds a Georgia real estate license. He received his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Harvard College, where he captained the Men’s Track & Field team.
Travis serves on the boards of Central Atlanta Progress and Nana Grants, Inc., and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, the Harvard Club of Georgia’s interview committee, the Harvard Varsity Club, the Gate City Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He resides in the Atlanta area with his wife and their young son.
